Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation (MAPI) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation (MAPI)
The Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation, or MAPI, is a member organization that provides an educational forum for industry executives to foster efficiency, innovation and overall business success within their companies. MAPI contributes to the competitiveness of U.S. manufacturing by providing unbiased economic research, professional development, and an independent, expert source of manufacturing information. == History == The initial role in the early 1930s was in representing the "machinery and allied products industry" and while not a lobbying organization, MAPI served as a national voice for policies which stimulated technological advancement and economic growth in manufacturing and in the public interest. One of the unique innovations of MAPI was the establishment and, over the past 80 years, the strong development of the MAPI Council Program. These councils were organized in response to the need for seminar-like peer groups to meet and discuss common challenges of manufacturing. These core competencies remain intact and continue to adapt to the emerging issues in the global economy.
